    The Liverpool lightweight got his dream chance against the Cuban star in his hometown on March 6.

    Crolla, 28, was set to take on Abril this month in Manchester before he was attacked by burglars in December.

    The Manchester fighter disturbed the thugs and chased them away before one of them hit him with a concrete slab.

            I hope Mathews wins this. Abril is the much better boxer but you can count on Derry to always bring it even when he's down and out on the cards.
