Its a backup for Mayweather in case the Pacquiao fight doesn't come through, just like Pacquiao's camp is ready to go in April vs Vargas.Comment

Well Floyd is a walking contradiction. If he and Pac have come to an agreement, what's the harm in saying that?Comment

I don't really get it.
Do these guys actually want the fight to happen?
At this point we know little, all we know is that Pacquaio has agreed to the terms, and the networks and sorting out their stuff.
That's literally all we know, we know nothing else.
Yet people are finding ways for it to not happen, seemingly hoping it doesn't.
Like I said, don't really get it.Comment

They reached out months ago and haven't talked recently according to Cotto's manager. Why are Pac fans acting like Mayweather is actively negotiating with Cotto?

Cotto stalls on the negotiations between himself and Canelo while Haymon contacts Cotto's manager to gauge interests in a rematch.Comment

And they cant unless Floyd is willing to forfeit some of his guarantee.
No way does Floyd/Cotto do enough buys for Showtime to make a profit.
The point of my post is, why is Haymon reaching out to Cotto's manager for a rematch if they're trying to secure a fight with pacquiao?Comment

Like I said youre not thinking this through logically or just dont want the fight to happen.Comment

Right. Like they have no ability to actually think. They rather just follow the narrative regardless of facts. And honestly, I've been over these two fighting. But I'm thinking it happens based on what we've read. Right now though, they are obviously trying to work on the deal WITH THE NETWORKS. But that means = Floyd's looking for a way out in THEIR eyes. Like, what? Then they want to quote Oscar and 50 Cent about Floyd not wanting the fight? My goodness.
