Meanwhile Floyd's boss is trying to secure Cotto. If Floyd is so determined to fight Pacquiao, why is Floyd's boss reaching out to Cotto's manager about a fight?

They're doing everything they can to get out of this fight it would seem.

“That’s not going to happen… You heard me say it on film. It’s not going to happen,” 50 told Tech Buffalo. “What you wanna fight Pac-Man for under those circumstances? When you can pick anybody you want to. Cause we wanna see the toughest fight?”

When questioned about a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight being part of boxing history, 50 focused on his sometimes public foe’s undefeated record as more historic than the chance of losing to Pac.

“Later when they look at his actual record and look at what he’s done, they’re still gonna have to say, ‘Who do you think could have beat him if it would have happened this way?'” 50 stated. “You know those imaginary games like what would it be like if Jordan played Kobe all at one time. Who would be better? It would be one of those conversations.”

Pacquiao said in a recent interview with Huffington Post Live that he agreed to all terms and the only thing standing in the way of the highly anticipated fight is Mayweather signing the contract. It has been speculated that Mayweather could make as much as $150 million off the bout.

Poor Pac fans. They know this fight is nearing and are ignoring all the talk about Mayweather agreeing to terms himself and that Mayweather hadn't talked to Cotto's camp in months holding out a glimmer of hope the fight doesn't get done so they dont have to see their boy getting dominated.

I see a lot of "the boxing world" saying it's closer than ever and is likely to me made.

They want Mayweather to come out and say he's agreed to terms set by himself...in other words they want him to say "I agree with myself"

they're not thinking this through logically

                I don't really get it.

Do these guys actually want the fight to happen?

At this point we know little, all we know is that Pacquaio has agreed to the terms, and the networks and sorting out their stuff.

That's literally all we know, we know nothing else.

Yet people are finding ways for it to not happen, seemingly hoping it doesn't.

Like I said, don't really get it.

Yet Haymon is reaching out to Cotto's people for a fight. Explain that one....

One thing that's clear after these last couple of weeks is that a lot of people on this site really don't want this fight to happen.they've been arguing the same points for the last 6 years. They wouldn't know what to do with themselves afterwards if this fight actually does happen

we should just forget about this fight now. i was all hyped like a fool thinkign this could finally get made, but clearly floyd is still a big time coward.
