Rematch clauses for both fighters would be just awesome!

I read somewhere that rematch clause was the other issues that both sides argued a lot. Apparently May wants a rematch clause and he don't want Manny to have one.

I guess now Floyd can hide behind Showtime not agreeing with HBO, if the fight falls through.

The thing is why come out and say this even if there is a fair bit to sort out if the fight is going to happen and its just a matter of sorting some things out ?

This guy is basically saying dont get your hopes up there's still a fair chance the fight doesnt happen.

Because Arun and Pac are running to the media implying that its a done deal instead of shutting their collective mouths and negotiating privately, resulting in SHO Execs in a position to respond. Keep in mind, this IS arum as usual.

And yet somehow you add Pac's name running his mouth to the media. I never read or saw him saying "yeah I signed the contract and the fight is on". He said they will announce it soon. It's either the fight is on, or they moving forward if May keep milking the process. Damn I hate reading posts from fan boys.

That's normally how it goes ... Let's be real manny is the one "stepping up" if Floyd beats him (in the fashion he's expected to) he's not going to want to waste his time with a rematch and most fans wouldn't want to waste their money. If he loses of course they are going to run it back ... And if it's even close/competitive (think maidana) Floyd would gladly run it back for the 2nd biggest fight of all time ... ***** they might even break their own record from the first.

The general idea is that if Floyd schools him why run it back? he's trying to avoid being legally obligated to do so ...

SHO and HBO worked together for Lewis vs Tyson so it's not a real problem to solve, casual fans shut up. Anyway everybody wants to hear Buffer's LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE instead IT'S SHOWTIME, first point. Second point, Lampley and Kellerman and Ward are much better than Bernstein, Malignaggi and that idiot Rapallo or Jim Gray...... also Floyd's fans ever said SHOWTIME is not as good as HBO, remember when Manny fought for SHOWTIME vs Mosley what groupies said about it. Remember? Floyd's fans are shaking now that Manny agreed every diva's requests of XYLOCAINE Jr., your boy has to sign the contract, stop BS!!!

A lot of you guys are dumb and have no idea what you are talking about. The main negotiations are over and done with. The remaining issue is between the networks. This fight is massive and will break records so the money being generated is massive. The main issue is how the money is being distributed between the two as well as who is televising the fight. I'm sure they will get this figured out. I'm assuming they want to resolve every issue before announcing the fight but it's pretty much official.
