We don't know why Haymon is speaking with Cotto and that wasn't recently that they spoke.

    We don't know anything.

I don't think you want the fight because you're trying to find reasons for it not to, in a hopeful way. You're hoping for it not to happen so you can critisize Mayweather.
The common trend in this thread, is people believing that Deevel doesn't want the fight. It's pretty obvious, imo.

I agree. Which is why I laughed when people said he was calling out Manny because Showtime was forcing him. Just like Moonves wouldn't be negotiating a fight (if he is) while knowing Floyd doesn't want it.

Haymon definitely reached out to cotto's team for a rematch, yes this was a month or so ago. But he definitely reached out for a rematch that much is certain.

Even if he did, doesn't mean they don't want the fight. Pacquiao's people said they have a solid B. Doesn't mean they don't want the fight either. It just means they both recognize the need to have a safety.

One of the dumbest pac fanatics ever. Sounded intelligent but had some of the most mind-numbingly dumb ideas and theories regarding anything Mayweather/Pacquiao related.

              Hmmm.

Alright well for the first part i think the public demanded floyd to speak on the matter, that's why he spoke up. It was getting embarrassing for him tbh. But the second part is very valid, and actually a point i hadn't thought of. Maybe moonves has leverage we aren't aware of? Idk i do think that's a positive sign tho.

According to rafeal, its in his chat archive and i don't want to go searching for it but ill post what i remember him saying. But according to him he reached out, but Cotto was only interested in a Canelo fight, my how things change.... So who really knows what the **** is going on anymore.

Unlike many Floyd fans, I wouldn't want anything more than to see this fight. The fact that many of them are on another thread justifying a Cotto/Floyd rematch speaks in volumes.

From the years I've been on this site the conclusion I've come to is, many Floyd nuthuggers only want what Floyd wants.

Floyd doesn't want Arum involved -"But why cant arum step aside doe"

Floyd offers Pac a lowball offer of $40mil - "But Pac turned it down doe"

Floyd says Pac is desperate to fight him because of IRS problems - "Its true doe. Why should Floyd help him now?

Floyd says the fight can only happen on Showtime - "If Pac really wants the fight he'll break his contract with HBO and fight Floyd on Showtime doe!"

                    Etc......

Remember when the Floydboys were saying how if Pac wants the fight he should call Floyd out? Now its ...."Pac and Arum need to shut up before they kill the fight" LOL
