Showtime are more neutral they were giving Maidana a **** ton of credit in his first fight with Mayweather, more than he deserved actually.
LOL nah, that was Max K. who got the boner when Pacman winked at him in the 1st Bradley fight.

Does anyone know when the meeting starts today? I would hope as early as possible, hopefully they can iron out the rest of the details by the end of the week.

I wish there was someone better than Lampley at their disposal but out of the two sides he has to do it.

I would have them kind of rotate around all night though, that would be cool and would make any of them less annoying. That way you could keep a guy like Pauli involved but far away from the main event.

Im not saying I prefer the HBO crew because they are better. They are clearly the most biased broadcast crew out there. Back in the day we had a thing about watching HBO fighters with the sound off was a better way to judge fights.

But Im drawn to the fact that HBO has a longstanding personal relationship with both fighters. Its a love/hate relationship of extreme proportions. The way they would call the fight, pretending to be unbiased, has the potential to be HILARIOUS. Crazy if they have call Floyd the winner.

I am with everybody says no to Lampley. He has been the worst for years. If you were to listen to an HBO broadcast over the radio or were a blind man Lampley would have you thinking the wrong person is winning the fight.

Never seen a person call so many wrong punches. I mean this dude is sitting ringside and still gets it wrong. WTF

I wish they could get Al Micheals to do it, that is the voice this fight needs but I can't see either side being ok with an NBC guy calling their big show but it would also be neutral and he is getting back into the fight game anyway.

That is just a dream though, because it almost literally has to be Lampley he has called both guys careers from early on. I never want to see him do a fight like this ever again but in this situation it is just how it has to be.

It would be odd as hell listening to someone else call that fight because Lampley's voice is associated closely with the careers of both men.

Absolutely no lampley. Truth is it'll probably be Showtime team. Since they will probably produce fight. They've done the most work and they have the most money tied up into it.

I can agree with this. He has just been weird as hell lately with the crying and calling punches that just aren't there. One guy can be ****ing away on the other and then the guy getting punched will throw a wide ass hook that misses and Lampley will be all, "so-and-so lands a thunderous left hook." I think he is losing his marbles.
