Reminder: For Lewis-Tyson it took HBO and Showtime 15 months to reach an agreement (in addition to the time it took to negotiate purses for Lewis-Tyson).

As per everyone else, that isnt true.

Pac has agreed to everything but signed nothing. Same for Floyd.

There are no contracts to sign yet.

... And you assume that "Pac camp" also solved the HBO demands, right?

I am sure Manny doesn't care if Showtime is the lead but i am sure HBO cares.
They are going to charge $99 for this PPV and I think HBO is going to push hard to get a big piece of that pie.
Would be interesting to see if we get a 24/7 or joint show airing on both Showtime and HBO. That wasn't around when Tyson/Lewis got made so I am sure its part of the discussion as well. More power to them if they finally get this done.

Man I'll take Jim Lampley over Al Bernstein and Mauro every single day of the week. Lampley and Grey, that'd work for me.

                Why would anyone want Lampley?

Agree totally on Lampley but I can do without Grey.

eh showtime production is close enough I suppose, it's fine as long as Paulie isn't involved.

Al Bernstien, however, should definitely be involved.

I sure as hell wouldn't. At all. Last dude I want on TV is Lampley. He'll calling shots that didn't land, bursting into euphoria at random moments. Please sit this one out.
