Or could be a crown tooth that were already loose.teeth to not come out that easily. i played hockey for 15 years, and i've seen them on the ice and in pieces. i don't think i've ever seen a tooth knocked out like that with a boxing glove on. glen tapia had several teeth broken in a boxing match, but they were not knocked out completely. teeth literally embed in your jaw. it's freaking tough to knock them out with a glove on and a mouthpiece.
that's a porcelain veneer. floyd mayweather, like most national level celebrities, has porcelain built onto his teeth to improve his smile.Comment

if he lost a tooth im sure he would have said so at some point. even if he is so prideful of his defense he wouldnt it want to point it out himself it would show during the post fight interview.
at the same time there is no reason to assume its a tooth, it could easily just be vaseline which is more likely any way you look at it imo.Comment

A pillow lol , they were 8oz powelocs your fool a punchers glove .
The Power Lock is an all foam glove with a stitched thumb for optimal thumb positioning making it extremely streamlined; slightly smaller and compact. The Power Lock glove is also considered a punchers glove as it was also worn by Josesito Lopez when he broke Victor Ortiz***8217;s jaw and by Ruslan Provodnikov when he badly hurt Timothy Bradley in their fight.
Everlast has great gloves. Power Lock gloves are great. Our other fighters are actually preferring Power Lock over MX. But in [the Mayweather] fight, Maidana had never in his life wore the Power Lock. When he put his hand in the glove it was a little uncomfortable. We actually had to put Vaseline on the gauze so we could slide it in since the gauze was thick. So we***8217;re going to try out different gloves and maybe we will go with the Power Lock. I don***8217;t mind, they***8217;re good gloves but we just have to use them in training and Maidana is comfortable wearing them,***8221; said Garcia.
While the fight has not been officially announced, a rematch between the sports pound for pound king Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Marcos “Chino” Maidana looks likely to take place on September 13th at a site yet to be determined. Mayweather himself said he would be fighting Maidana a second time when he was interviewed at the BET Awards red carpet last week. Their first encounter proved to be an exciting affair but the big story heading into the fight was there was probably not going to be a fight at all as Team Mayweather had an issue with the gloves Maidana was going to use in the fight. The padding in Maidana’s custom Everlast MX gloves were called into question by Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe and even a second pair approved by the commission was rejected by Team Mayweather.Last edited by Reloaded; 01-15-2015, 06:11 PM.Comment

i was gonna say how the **** do you lose a tooth when you wear a mouthguard but yeah this is what happen if you wear a single mouth guard and dont have your mouth closed. you either get your jaw broken or you lose some teeth in the bottom if somebody lands a clean shot like that. but hey, floyd has enough money to replace his fake teeth with fake teeth againComment
