Neither guy should have gotten a shot to begin with. Praise him? Mentioning that he already clowned Russell (a fact, not an opinion) is not praising him.
That fight was an inevitability. Both guys wanted a belt. A belt was vacant. Arum bought another shot for Lomachenko. Haymon bought one for Russell. In the end, Russell could not have made himself look like a bigger hypejob if he tried with his performance. So if as a necessary evil we must have one of these guys as a champion, I will fully back him over Russell. Simply the lesser evil. We need less "champions" like Mickey Bey in this sport.
