I wasn't even blaming Arum, the reason it wasn't a good sign was because Floyd wasn't in agreement with the terms albeit the terms are mostly unknown.
Take it as a compliment, old friend. A compliment from a dumbass but still a compliment.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I just found it interesting how some people interpret positive developments in making the Floyd-Pac fight as negative or a lie just because a specific person/side was talking about it (Arum), while another is being quiet about it (Floyd), yet we've read about multiple articles stating that there truly have been efforts made in making the negotiations work and are close to finalizing them, with multiple parties involved.

Basically, the fanboyism of certain posters are blinding them from the good news pertaining to the Floyd-Pac fight.

It turned out to be good news.

All I was saying is it seemed like there were possible problems arising. Which isn't a good sign.

Which would have been on Floyd.

Thankfully, it seems everything is going to be OK and the fights looking like it's going to get made.

I agree. I can't wait to see the fight. We've all been waiting too long for it, but it's better late than never. Good thing both sides seem to be coming to terms and are coordinating to make it happen.

Because of the money involved. Manny is an HBO fighter and Floyd is a Showtime fighter, they are still rival organizations competing for viewership. Them working together is rare and only happened one other time before. I think it was Tyson and Holyfield? I can't remember but it was only one other time this has ever happened.

If it's so close why isn't the fight official? What's the holdup? What's the problem? What's holding things up? When this fight is officially announced I will believe it but it has been so close so many times and yet somehow never happens.

I know it's hard to believe but deals worth a few hundred million dollars require a lot of legal work and jargon to be sorted out.

HBO and Showtime needs to be sorted out as well
