I kept on telling everyone Peterson would fuck up Garcia, and nobody listened. Don't understand why people were acting as this was some easy KO for Garcia. Peterson was better than Garcia in every single conceivable way. Both on the inside and in the outside. Not saying it was some crazy super robbery, but no matter who you thought won, Peterson embarrassed Garcia and he showed who's the better fighter.

But the worry for him after tonight is that a chinny guy like Peterson was walking through his shots at 143. Someone like Robert Guerrero might stop him.

Danny won close. He didn't look good at all though. He hasn't fixed any problems from the Herrera fight and now guys can use that as a blueprint.

I blame Barry Hunter for Peterson losing the early rounds. There was a round where Peterson told him he saw something and Hunter kept him in his cage and told him to keep moving. The gameplan should've been box for the first two or three rounds and then turn up the heat.

It looked like Danny was getting hurt to the body late. He's known to have a good chin but the head shots were buzzing him as well. Garcia needs to progress as a fighter or he'll get thrashed at 147. He's not cutting of the ring and he's throwing punches when he's not in range. He's also not working behind his jab. Danny has really slow feet too.

I don't think Peterson is chinny at all. He's susceptible early, like he needs a few rounds to warm up, then he takes punches fine. He's never been put down past like the 3rd.

Danny really needs to tighten up his defense. Guys with boxing skills make him look bad. Garcia would look good against guys like Matthysse, Provo, Rios, and Maidana. He'll always struggle with guys like Herrera and Peterson. I think Algeri could actually give him problems.

Agreed, Peterson is a much better fighter than he has ever gotten credit for. Despite his boneheaded gameplan tonight, he showed his class. I'm very happy for him.

No sympathy for Peterson. Left it seven and a half rounds to start working. Barry Hunter is an awful strategist.

What you people arent seeing is that Peterson possibly made it that far and was able to have his way with Garcia thanks to his strategy early on. He could had gotten KTFO if he tried to engage early in the fight like he did with Matthysse.
