Haymon is a very clever man indeed. He has all the best fighters under contract and now the stage to get them unlimited exposure by making the best fights between them. He played Chess my friends. Oscar and Arum have no chance with their PPV cards because when they try to make you pay for PPV with crappy fights people will say "but we can watch the best fights on NBC" for FREE. Jay Z may make some waves but no one is messing with Haymon. 50 Cent is done in the sport of boxing as far as I'm concerned because Jigga already came in smarter and more official than he did.

He can carry his fighters on NBC and when they have the fanbase have their ppv on showtime. This will ensure solid ppv numbers everytime, I can see fighters not going ppv until they reach a level of exposure that garauntees over 500,000 ppv viewers.
I expect Broner, Garcia, Thurman, Jacobs, and Quillen to be heavily featured, at least 2 fights a year but more like 3-4.

So effectively, a poor 2014 was actually Oscar doing. There was no need for Haymon to have GBP stage his cards when Oscar was cutting em off.
Showtime is home to Haymons biggest client and that indicates they still have relationship. If Oscar didnt eff plans up showtime would have been on fire in 2014, a big year for showtime awaits in 2015Last edited by GRUSTLER; 01-15-2015, 08:51 PM.
