Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz Prefers To Face Frampton Over Quigg

WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz (28-0-1, 16KOs) is open to the idea of facing IBF champion Carl Frampton or WBA 'regular' champion Scott Quigg - but he prefers to face them in the United States as opposed to traveling over to the UK. Santa Cruz has some concerns regarding the scorecards - if the fight becomes close and reaches a decision.

Why not stage it on neutral ground? Macau, South Africa, Monaco or Germany are all good options? The World is getting smaller & unifications should be 100% neutral!

Put up the money and it'd probably be there

The one real purpose this guy serves is to remind us all of how utterly meaningless calling someone out/mentioning their name in public actually is.

First he started calling out Frampton.

Frampton KO'd Cazares and became WBC mandatory and Santa Cruz suddenly said he preferred Quigg

Then he was on to Rigondeaux

And now he's gone full circle back to Frampton.

He is embarrassing himself by calling out to tier fighters and then fighting bums. He won't fight either of them cause his daddy won't let him .

Lol as if there isn't plenty of examples of bad decisions in the States too. Just another excuse.
