Nice card but does anyone realize that Haymon actually put up $20 million of his own or his "investors" money to buy these dates...there's a reason all his fights on showtime were garbage, all the money was guaranteed from showtime and approved by that idiot Espinoza.
Haymon now has a reason to make the good fights for himself and his people to make that $$$ back and then some with advertising and eyeballs on the screen.

I'm just happy we will get some good fights and back on regular TV like the old days...Thurman is gonna kill Guerrero btw....

I'd say Broner vs Molina is a good fight and a good learning experience for Adrien to improve. However Broner is vastly overrated and is expected by many to take over boxing after Floyd which I don't see. But because of the casual's belief that Broner is still the next big thing, he'd be better off putting it on the line as soon as possible with an opponent that has more to lose. But a decent fight and I don't necessarily want to see Broner fade into oblivion this soon after another loss. I mean heck I think he is pretty entertaining and makes for a good foil to the straight types like Maidana.

I am surprised with Garcia fighting Guerrero just because there isn't a whole lot to gain but he has everything to lose. Guerrero is also relentless and a full fledged welterweight. Pretty surprised with this option but maybe Haymon knows Garcia will prevail.

No I absolutely don't. There is not anyone out there ready to take over the sport like those two have...but why not a guy like Garcia or Thurman or Crawford...never know who that guy might be..

he can,but he's not that good,he doesn't have the high work rate of maidana who gave broner problems all night,the promoters will just use the "Molina is an exciting fighter" description,but he hasn't done anything lately,if ever

If these are two of the fights that will be on the first Haymon fight card then I agree it would certainly be a great start. At this point, however, it is just the word going around and as far as I can tell nothing has been confirmed or substantiated. If it does happen, such match ups could supply Haymon with a level of redemption from all the cherry picking that has been going on with his fighters under other promotional banners.
At the same time, I'm still going to treat this supposed card with a lot of skepticism until it actually happens because none of Haymon's actions as an adviser as of yet have proven he can be trusted to provide quality, competitive fights. Something else to think about would be if this card does go through as advertised, will subsequent Haymon promoted events continue to provide competitive match ups on paper at least or is this just a way to deceive the boxing public into supporting Haymon Boxing in the future? Only time will tell if this is the genuine article or if it is just a part of some greater master plan to suck people in until the low risk, high reward program gets back into motion. At the moment, without any concrete evidence one way or another, it's really hard to tell. For the sake of the future of boxing, I really hope this doesn't turn out to be an elaborate ruse.

I cant believe all you ball deepthroaters are riding haymon simply for putting on one good card. Lol seriously 1 single pretty good card and now he's so great? This is what he should have been doing the whole time. Of course his first card was going to be decent that was expected. That should be his main concern is to make the vest fights for the fans while also giving his fighters opportunities to become legit stars. One ok card doesn't make up for all the travesties he has been responsible for such as Stevenson ducking all the top guys and pulling out of 3 fights, Peter quillen turning down a career high payday x3 and vacating his belt, and also making Danny Garcia irrelevent and putting rod salkas life in jeopardy in the process. He has blocked so many great fights, he doesn't work with top ra k, hes blocked Oscars fights, and the list goes on. He would need 2 cards like this a month for the next 2 years straight to make up for single handedly bringing boxing down. Its nit like this is the greatest card either but it is good. He makes so many crap fights that one ok card everyone makes a huge deal of. Broker sucks and got badly exposed by maidana and also went life or death with Taylor who Chris algieri took to school and shut out. And Molina has lost a bunch of his recent fights so its not the greatest but its good for haymons usual.
