Guys please think deeply before reacting to what this new article regarding these endless pac vs may negotiation talks; don't be like broner who got his ass served just recently--Please think before you speak!
To analyze and put things to perspective.
First things first, is Arum telling the truth? Then, how do we determine that this guy is most probably telling the truth or just lying?
Well it's really not difficult, It's through his recent actions; please bear in mind, not to cling to the past and always focus your mind in the present evidence, or you'll just get lost in fact finding and you will end up confused. Do not let personal biasness eat you up.
Okay, since recent actions are the determining factor: What are his recent actions that suggests he is telling a truth or telling a lie?
Arum's actions that suggests he is telling the truth:
*Makes the effort to personally talk to Leslie Moonves to make the fight happen.
Supporting argument for this action: You don't friggin' fruck with Moonves by wasting his precious time talking something you don't mean it! To this big time guys, the old adage "Time is Gold" really applies. Floyd, Manny, Arum, Haymon and everyone on the current negotiating table are just a frigging piece of lint comparing to moonves status. Arum will not approach Moonves just to waste his frucking time negotiating with floyd without the real intention of making it happen. It doesn't frucking make sense.
Remember: This super fight is almost accepted by fans that it's already dead, won't happen, can't happen, No No, NADA for whatever nonsensical reasons from both sides that has been repeated a million times that I'm too tired to repeat it myself. Okay, so if Arum don't want the super fight to happen--why in the hell would he speak to Moonves, when he got already got the result favorable on his side already, which is to secure manny not to fight floyd, and people have already calmed down and accepted the fact that it won't happen, WHY in the hell would Arum suddenly go to moonves and start this thing(pac vs may talks) all over again, if he doesn't want the fight to happen??
"The sea has already calmed down, it's time to move on, why make it turbulent again?"
So what can suggest that Arum might be telling a lie?
*He does not approve that may vs pac should be held on May 2.
Supporting argument for this action: Nobody is ordering anybody, this is just Arum's own personal opinion about May 2 date; --just like any opinion like for example on gay marriage, how and when to celebrate Christmas, religion to your liking and etc. etc.. I repeat nobody is ordering anybody, Arum just expressed his opinion about his take on May 2 fight date.
If, in the end, Floyd wants to fight on May 2 anyway, then, he can have it, nobody would darn dare to stop it. What arum stated was just his own beliefs and personal opinion and not a personal gag order to stop the fight if it's on May 2 date. I repeat nobody is ordering anybody; --Biasness and lack of deep thinking has blown up this little thing.
Conclusion: There's a clear evidence that Arum wants the fight, it's as simple as that.
