    With plans calling for an attempted split-site doubleheader involving Carl Froch and Kell Brook, one half of the equation is now in place. Brook is now set for the first defense of his welterweight title, as he gears for a hometown showcase at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England.

        Dan, most likely.

        Get that mandatory out of the way as well as it being the first fight after the stabbing and then kick on with the big fights.

              Don't they have to get the Dan mandatory out of the way before they can even consider Khan? Use the Dan fight in March to build up a possible Khan fight in June.

                  The Dan mandatory hasn't even been called yet. Is Brook really going to fight in March and then again in June? Seems ambitious.

                    Ambitious? I guess so. Sad, 2-3 months between fights used to be the norm. Dan at this stage is a fairly soft touch for someone like Brook, assuming he's fully recovered from his social mishap.
