    Back injury forces Olympic hero to miss The O2 showdown

    Anthony Joshua MBE has been forced out of his fight with Kevin Johnson at The O2 on January 31 after aggravating a back injury.

    The Olympic gold medal hero has a Pars Stress Fracture in his back which required immediate medical attention and subsequent physiotherapy. On the advice of his medical team and trainer he has been ordered to rest before resuming training to appear on the Newcastle bill on April 4.

      NOOOOOO!

      This was going to be a good test of Joshua's power. Joshua seems like he could be a very injury prone fighter in only 10 fights he's had to pull out a few times now.

          Shame. The rounds against a defensive fighter like Johnson would of done Joshua good.

            Hopefully he's not over doing it in the gym with the weights. Wouldn't be the first time. Was looking forward to him going at least 6 rounds.
