Well we all know haymond is encouraging his guys to duck everyone and they dont need much encouragement for that but at least the cats out of the bag and the major networks hopefully wont buy his BS much longer

GBP was built into an empire while Schaefer was the CEO and staged the best competitive cards while being head and shoulders above the rest...if thats not considered running GBP with the best of interests i dont know what his.

And as for Haymon choosing not to contract his fighters exclusively to GBP while @ the same time maximizing the fighters earning potential, thats all in the eye of the beholder i guess. As for your observation of how Haymon does business, do you base that off 2014 alone? Or do add in 2013 as well? Although i am disappointed by an underwhelming year i have to admit the man is doing good things for his boxers and will reserve further judgement until his overall picture plays out.

It may be doing good things for boxers in the short term....but once people, true boxing fans get fed up with his multiple mismatches and preventing fights we want to see it all will fall apart. I for once think that comparing the good fights and bad fights we have had with Haymon, there definitely is a big disparity with bad mismatches being predominant.

No, I base it off his career in boxing and how the Brewster situation was handled years ago. The dude was blind and was somehow getting thrown in to fights risking his health. Not to mention the burning of bridges with HBO and the fallout afterward. The guy just leaves a path of destruction wherever he goes, his track record reflects that. He is in it to maximize his financial position until he gets booted from the industry. Once that happens, he moves on to the next sleezy endeavor. He is an exploiter ultimately and needs to get out of this sport.

It is sad that you cannot be released from the clutches of Haymon until you are either handicapped like Brewster, or crippled like PDub. The guy is running a plantation stable and has the fighters convinced they deserve to be there.
