Nothing gave him that idea,he clearly makes a point Fury upon being called to face Wlad next could make unreasonable demands to in fact avoid the fight ie it has to be in UK.
Maybe it is not so clear, just reading the lines I think the insinuation is clear though.Comment

Why would Bernd,Wlad or anyone else from K2 be having second thoughts here ? dont be so preposterous.Bernd clearly outlined a deal was all but done, but Shaw could not now sign off on the deal previously agreed in all but signature.
Youre right Shaw is not just an employee,he now has partners he did not previously involved in his deal making.Comment

Fury and Uncle Pete want the fight though, otherwise they would have turned it down like they did 3 years ago. Hennessy and Warren are pushing for it right now. Why would they do that then try to avoid it?
Imo Wlad does not want this fight. He knows it would be a tough one for him and would rather concentrate on unification than Tyson Fury.
Unreasonable demands and stipulations on the part of K2, who would likely be the promoters, are the only thing I can see getting in the way.Comment

What has Wladimir done for you to believe he would avoid a mandatory ?Fury and Uncle Pete want the fight though, otherwise they would have turned it down like they did 3 years ago. Hennessy and Warren are pushing for it right now. Why would they do that then try to avoid it?

Fury has ducked and dodged several times before,he has a history the champ does not !
A tough fight you say,was Haye,Povetkin and a Pulev not considered tough ones for him ? He fought those guys,Haye he did not have to even face,he wanted to absorb his belt !
You're truly lost if you believe Wladimir has reason to avoid this guy.not only has he offered him the fight previously,he has matched up and wanted to face guys his own size as voluntaries and larger ie Wach and Jennings.
C'mon man,you can't seriously be sold on what Fury is selling in these conferences regarding Wlad,I know you're a fan n all and their isnt a great deal a boxer can do wrong in his fans and supporters eyes, but this is absurd.Comment

I'm not one to blindly support the fighters I like. I've said before that Fury giving up his British title the first time he held it was clearly done to avoid a mandatory defence against David Price. It was a "duck", in other words. Maybe done for "political" reasons, rather than fear of defeat, but still a duck. What has Wladimir done for you to believe he would avoid a mandatory ?

I also said that I thought he was wrong to condemn Chisora so strongly when Del Boy had to pull out of their fight with a broken hand, and couldn't really complain too much about people condemning him for pulling out of fighting Ustinov just a day later.
Wlad has fought all his mandatories but is known for doing so when HE decides the time is right, and not before. And he actually does have history of "ducking and dodging" Remember how he was twice scheduled to fight Chisora and twice postponed it due to "injuries" before eventually fighting Haye instead?
Also, in past promotions, K2 have exerted a lot of control over challengers to the K bro's in the lead up to fights and pissed a few of them off in the process. The Fury's like to do things their own way, same with Warren and Hennessy.
There are 2 things I believe strongly about Fury/Wlad. 1. Fury has the style and capability to cause Wlad a lot of problems and would have more chance of beating him than Jennings, Stiverne, or Wilder. 2. Wlad knows this and will put off fighting Fury for as long as he can, maybe for good, by winning the WBC title then retiring afterwards.
Maybe I'm right about these things, maybe I'm not. We'll find out this coming year.Last edited by kafkod; 01-12-2015, 05:00 PM.Comment

Wlad walked from the rearranged Chisora fight in March to face Haye in late June or early July,as it happened it was the 2nd day of July.he had good reason and cause too,he absorbed the thebWBA belt having 'ducked' Chisora lol !I'm not one to blindly support the fighters I like. To me that isn't a duck.if you prefer,I'll agree to disagree.
The first Chisora fight I remember being called off during fight week, kidney stones was it ? I had my su****ions at the time Klitschko hadn't been as focused in training,he had only recently began to date Hayden, was his focus amiss.I believe he maybe wanted to spend their first Christmas period closer together, who knows.its history and hardly relevant to nothing.if you believe Wlad had reason to duck this guy,I suggest you watch Chisora vs Vitali and maybe the Fury fights again.Chisora has nothing of note that could trouble Wladimir.
He was rewarded richly for being messed around too, something a lot of his fans neglect to mention or are simply ignorant too,he earned the Vitali fight simply as an admission and token of regret from K2.and look how he repaid that ?!
I remember watching the Vitali Del fight, around the third Chisora was blowing hard,i thought the fight would be over in rounds, before it was apparent VK had cease to use the jab, pretty much just relying on the right as a cuffing hook/jab.he simply could not set up the right.
Chisora simply got too much credit for that for that loss.all of a sudden he'd take Wlad into a life and death battle ! C'mon man I don't buy that ****.Comment
