... He won more than $2mln, as Rodriguez was penalised for not making 168 at the weigh in.

I mean, boxing is his job, how does he expect to support his family, and three kids if he doesn't fight? These are his prime years!!! He's throwing them away!!! how are all of these Al Haymon guys that are only fighting once or twice a year making any money? If Al gets them paid, why not fight more?
He's already made more then enough to support a family. He's made more in 1 fight then most people make in their life. If you live conservatively a million dollars is enough to support a family and hes made way more then that. Plus the reason he didn't fight is an injury.

Well, he did make 2 million in November 2013 for fighting average Rodriguez. Well, more like 1 million after taxes, and training expenses, etc. paid.

I'm guessing his contract for announcing with HBO pays him low six-figures a year - probably about twice what the average American income is.

A Walt Disney film has you pissing your britches with excited anticipation and you spend the rest of your time buying children's toys from eBay.

You're neither a fighter or a man. You're oppinion on this issue holds little weight.

Ward's an intelligent guy. By this point I'd be very suprised if he hasn't got his money working for him.

Andre is already a P4P guy though. He's got to fight more to become more of a mainstream name. He is not at a point where someone is going to pay him to not take a fight, ala Peter Kid Ducklote Quillen.
