Just too many possible big money fights with little risk to move up.. It just doesn't make sense
Froch and Kessler aren't happening; Degale and Groves I don't think (according to Ward) have accomplished enough; I'm pretty sure he's not going to fight the Dirrell's, especially Andre (wasn't there something about them agreeing to not fight each other?-can't remember); and then GGG, who still wants to unify. All of that on top of Ward-per Virgil-wanting one or more tuneups, doesn't lead to the conclusion that he has a lot at 168.

I don't mind Ward not moving up but most of the above fights won't happen.
Froch no way, Chavez slim chance, Kessler- who cares anymore.
I doubt he'd go to the UK for Degale or Groves *where it would make money.
Maybe a fight with one of the Dirrells and even that is a big big if.

Fighters are supposed to move up. Like you said, fighters in history have moved up and dared to be great. You are furiously telling Rigondeaux to move up but not Golovkin. Why the double standards?

I'm not even a Ward fan you bell-end...lol. I think he should move up when the time is right. I'm not sitting here like a little f@g saying Kovalev needs to move down to 168 like you are.

I'm also not furiously telling Golovkin to move up. I think he's doing the smart thing by staying at 160 for now. But eventually he should move up.

I have no double standards on the issue. You're clearly a very insecure little white man probably with a tiny dinky whose standards change over racial barriers.

Aside from Kovalev who else is there for Ward to fight at 175lbs? Once Ward moves up he's there to stay so I undertsand his reluctance to pass on the possiblity of future fights with Chavez, GGG or even Froch.

i think ward is in a good spot right now. hes 30 so maybe hes got a few years left. He can stick around with a tune up and a big name at 168 then another fight or two. move up to 175 to fight kova and finish out career. His best bet at ppv is 168 (with other 168s or bigname 160s moving up) so he gotta make himself available.

                Far from it mate

And I agree with Golovkin, but he has Canelo and Cotto there. Who is there for Ward at 168?

                    When i open
ring website i see COTTO face #1 MW in the world , thats enough for me to sayt GGG needs that first (casual fans need to know he is #1) then he should move up and face the challanges , until his face isnt #1 MW @ RING there isnt any way he should move up (aside from the fact that the hardcore fans know hs is #1) , Ward can do what he wants i dont care , he can wait for GGG or fight whoever he wants.

                      Because "Krusher" will crack

His azz! That's the bottom line.
Ward can not face someone with that type of skill set.
He's another one that will fight a guy who come fwd(Mayweather comes to mind), and easy to hit, & clutch!
Besides a finished, and dehydrated Dawson, has Ward fought anyone with a superior background like Kovalev??? No he fought guys like Frotch, Beka, & Meranda. Non intelligent punching bags that never have a plan "B" when the tough gets going!
But someone like Stevenson will take the bait. They will agree to meet at a catch weight, & fight in Oakland.....
