He already cleaned out 168, lame excuse from Ward. Name 3 big names at 168 who he hasnt beat already besides JCC Jr (only reason hes a big name is the $ he brings).
Ward vs Kov/Adonis/Hopkins/Pascal, even Beterbiev are BIG fights he could get right away

So while Golovkin waits on Alvarez, and Ward waits on Golovkin, and Kovalev waits on Ward, there's fights to be made.

Ward: "I won't be able to clinch and hit Kovalev because he's a legit 175 pounder." "Right now move to 175 doesn't make sense for me, but Triple G should up to 168 and Floyd should move up to 160 to fight me"

I can see why Ward may stay a year or 2, unifying the championship. A possible Golovkin match up would be very interesting. The only 175lber that I believe would be a possible threat would be Kovalev, but that is after Kovlaev gets some more fights under his belt. A Pascal and Stevenson match up would be great for his image and then bring on Ward.

He will get to 175 eventually but right now I think it is potentially more action at 168 coming in the next year as others already posted in this thread so with GGG and Chavez Jr moving up likely very soon but also young fighters on the rise in that Division like DeGale, Groves, Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez, Callum Smith so 168 potentially has MORE TALENT in the near future to challenge him hopefully
Ward is 30 just entering his PRIME, why are people talking like he is close to retiring and won't ever move up to 175
Then knowing this forum, if he moves up you same idiots will say "HE IS RUNNING FOR GGG THAT IS WHY HE MOVED UP"

If Floyd-Pac and Cotto-Canelo are announced soon, no one will even care about this boring, cherry-picking, non-blood-testing, only fighting out of Cali once but never leaving the country even though he's the B-side Mofo...
Ward is everything that's wrong with boxing...Last edited by MisanthropicNY; 01-10-2015, 04:25 PM.
