Someone posted something about Haymon's contracts recently. He has complete control over what fights they sign, the promoters they sign with, everything. They cannot accept any offers without his approval.

Think that is true in any standard managers agreement. Both the manager and the fighter has to agree to any decision.

The problem with Haymon is that he is no mere manager or advisor but he is in effect also a promoter, therefore he is not primarily looking out for the best interests of his fighters as those interests can, and likely will, run counter to his own interests.

If this is true then It's really troubling the way these "Haymon fighters" value themselves, or overvalue. I'm all about a man getting what he's worth but right now they seem delusional.
