You're full of ****. It's been signed and on Cotto's plate for a while, andCotto keeps trying to sweeten the pot even more so after he got everything he asked for. Canelo isn't EVEN trying to win the negotiations you clowns, he's waiting for Cotto to sign so he can look forward to stopping this diva Cotto.

This sums it up pretty much. Simple business sense.

That's such a ****** scenario, you shouldn't even be allowed to post. If Cotto fights Canelo, Cotto loses. Nobody buys Floyd-Cotto 2, and Floyd still gets paid $32m. If Cotto doesn't fight Canelo, the pressure will be on him to fight Gennady who would knock him out. He'll never fight Gennady, and the only fight they'd seek to make with Cotto is with Tim Bradley, which isn't a big sell either. Unless Floyd fights Manny, nobody is buying Floyd anymore. Cotto is one and done; his biggest payday is fighting Canelo, and he'll lose that fight.

How do you figure Cotto will make less with Floyd? The first fight did 1.5 million, the rematch will probably do the same as we saw with the Maidana numbers. Cotto/Canelo might get a million, it isn't getting 1.5 that's for sure. Cotto can make less % but the fact that there's more people buying means he could make more than he would against the Ginger.

As for your prediction... please tell me how you think Canelo would win. His last KO was a human punching bag and was still a bad stoppage and the last person he actually KO'd was a JWW fighting at 154. We already know he can't outbox Cotto and he can't outwork Cotto because they have similar stamina. Did you not watch the Floyd fight? Cotto actually won 4 rounds against Floyd and even if you feel he won 2, not only is that 2 more than Canelo he was actually competitive in every round win or lose. Canelo did absolutely nothing in there, he did more damage to the ropes than Floyd.

Clown if you knew as much about Boxing as you think you do, throwing around $1.5m, like you understand what really goes into those numbers, and you've kept a close eye on Floyd's declining numbers, then I might take the time to tear apart your comments. There's no interest in another Floyd-Cotto fight. Floyd is screwing with Oscar over the May 2 date, but Cotto & Canelo, Puerto Rican & Mexican fighting in Texas Stadium on May 2 will be a HUGE sell. And don't bet with your heart on what great "boxing" you think Cotto shows up with. All the Sergio fans claimed he'd outbox Cotto too, despite being shot, 40, and injury prone. Cotto couldn't handle Trout. He won't handle Canelo either. Then what's your excuse?

Oh, and by the way, I did see Cotto fight Floyd. He lost. Did you see the Trout fight? He lost there too. Floyd fought Cotto completely different than he did Canelo idiot. Don't just throw **** at the wall to see what sticks. Floyd stood in there and fought toe to toe with Cotto all night beating him to the punch. When Floyd fought Canelo, he wanted no part of Canelo's power, stayed outside pot shotting all night choosing not to stand toe to toe. But if you want to compare comparable opponents, then Trout is a great one to choose. Trout fought both guys the same, and he beat down Cotto, and got beaten down by Canelo. Have a seat kid. Watch, u might learn something.

Nah, he broke it down for you but you are in battered Canelo's wife syndrome mode.

Also, Cotto is on record saying he was not at his best for Trout. I see you like to compare their performance against Trout, but NOT SO MUCH against Floyd.

You keep think the rest of the world has to give a damn about what would why they should fight in Mexican town/west Coast, but unlike you, Cotto has an I.Q. over 78 and A side will make that determination as A side sees fit. "Oh but, Cinco De Mayo is awesome doe"

                    Stay bitter.

LMAO. Floyd got worked all night son. Stop trying to act like FLoyd was STYLING on Cotto. Cotto landed 3 jabs to the center of Floyd's face back to back when Floyd got cute. Rewind it son. And Your boy Canelo, he looked like a Tiajuana bartender who was paid $27 to get punched in the face for 45min. Cut it out. You can't come in here trying to write fictitious accounts. We have the video son.

What you should have said was, "Canelo had NOTHING for Floyd and was a victim to FLoyd's game for 45min. "
