Comments Thread For: Christian Hammer Shows No Fear of Tyson Fury

For a man heading to the proverbial lion’s den for the first time in his career, heavyweight hopeful Christian Hammer is brimming with confidence heading into his February 28 showdown with Tyson Fury. The two collide at the O2 Arena in London, marking first fight outside of Germany—where he currently resides—or his birth country of Romania.

“I don’t feel any pressure. I’m ready to fight,” Hammer (17-3, 10KOs) insists. “I’m really focused and in the best shape of my life. I’ve been waiting for a fight like this for a long time.” [Click Here To Read More]

Hammer is a fearless guy. He'd only had 8 fights when he went up against Wach, who was 21 - 0 then. Considering his lack experience, Hammer put up a good fight against Wach. He wasn't winning, but keeping it competitive till Wach caught him with a block-buster right hook.

He's won 10 fights since then so will no doubt fancy his chances against Fury. Lets hope Wlad feels the same way!

Just a matter of time before Fury is exposed. Personally I think Wilder, Joshua, Klitchko, and Stiverne would KO this joke.

Only guy out of those four that could beat Fury at this point in time is Wlad. I think AJ could beat him in a few years time but he's too green now.

We haven't really seen Tyson Fury fight a guy over 6'4" who offered any sort of challenge. He looks good (well, maybe a little clumsy and awkward) and gets the job done when he holds all the physical advantages and can bully smaller opponents, but it's possibly a bit too early to have a good idea of how he will fare against fighters around his size or bigger.

He will not fare well what so ever. If a cruiserweight in Cunningham with 13 KO's in his 28 wins can stun and drop Fury; what would Wilder, Joshua or Klitchko can do? Probably put the tool in a stretcher.
