There is no need for a rematch between these two, maybe Nonito can get a fight with Quigg or Frampton in the UK.

so wait does Hyde want the rematch or not?
If I was him I'd be jumping all over the rematch. Another fight for Rigo against a legit opponent is what he needs, even if it's a rematch. Instead he discredits Donaire and says they gain nothing from it.
Makes one wonder why no one wants to negotiate with Rigo. In addition to showtime and HBO not wanting him,you have the hurdle of dealing with this ****** ****.

I would have watched an immediate rematch but now??? Nah Donaire has lost a couple steps since Rigo... remember the first Darchinyan fight......now remember the second...he's done

Rigo probably just suggested this because he's fighting unknown fighters and has done all except Donaire who had the confidence and balls to fight him... where's all the Framptons and Quiggs calling him out

they don't want to be made irrelevant

yeah and I hope not because when Donaire demolishes them people will see just how good Rigo was to dominate him...

The Donaire Walters fight wasn't the same as the way Rigo controlled just about every second... Donaire nearly had Walters and will have everyone at 122 except Rigo even though he's faded

Oh, ok. I figured you might be because of your delicious nickname (it means tripe). And while I'm at it, "rigo" means thrush.

Anyway, I have always found it kind of pathetic when the winner is calling out the loser... It feels like he's admitting his own irrelevance.

There are better options competitively for Rigo, but a Donaire rematch wouldn't be a bad match up and would be worthy of HBO Boxing After Dark..especially since Donaire did knock Rigo down and wasn't really hurt ever in the fight...

Donaire, in my humble opinion, is getting a good dose of holy karma, he let go of his father and quarreled with him over something his ***** said, didn't speak to him and let his ***** divide that family, u don't turn your back on your family over a woman, never, especially if your father was the one that trained you to become a world champion and supported throughout, his father never spoke bad about Donaire in public during that time and always referred to him with much love, he understood Donaire made a mistake in judgement, God works in mysterious ways and his laws of cause and effect rule over the universe therefore i believe his career going downhill is a dose of karma and now his career is pretty much over

i think Donaire was hurt in the 12th round when Rigo had to put him in his place for applying so much pressure, i think if it would've been WWE Donaire would've gotten out of the ring in the 12th to get a breather and let his vision clear up just like professional wrestlers do at the beginning of the match when the other guy is dominating hahaha

I think a rematch would be earned if Nonito fights himself back to the #2 spot @ 122. He had pretty good success against Rigo when he actually let his hands go but his head-hunting and nerves let Rigo easily pick him apart. Who knows, a few confidence builders and we may see a different fight next time, as badly as Nonito got schooled, he still put Rigo on his ass.
