If he's hoping to bring in ratings from the casual audience, he's going to have to put on some really action packed fights. Casuals can care less about the technical aspects of boxing. They just want to see punches flying and somebody getting KO'd. 2 boxers pawing, jabbing, and moving for 12 rounds wont do anything for ratings.

LOL 20 million says all those fights will be Garcia/Salsa, and Wilder/Gavern type fights... Hahahah.

Is that 20 million just a time buy or is that including production or marketing costs.
It could be a really good deal, or it could be a really bad deal it all depends on what he got for that money.

Well on Fox Sports 1, Haymons shows averaged 175k-200k viewers (with a peak of 350k when Vic Ortiz fought), and Duva's NBC shows were said to have done slightly better (take into account her shows were primarily Saturday evenings vs Al's on during the week).

Keeping in mind, if Vic Ortiz could cause a bump like that in the ratings, I imagine Broner, D.Garcia, and Maidana could all do even better. And when they bring in a good audience other guys could capture their attention (enter Peter Quillin).
