Comments Thread For: Stiverne: Not Just a KO, I'm Going To Hurt Wilder!

LAS VEGAS - World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Bermane "B. Ware" Stiverne (24-1, 21 KOs) has trained to hurt, not just knockout, undefeated, mandatory challenger Deontay "The Bronze Bomber" Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs), January 17 in his first defense of the Vitali Klitschko-vacated title he captured last May with his sixth-round technical knocked of Chris Arreola (35-4).

Fight ends via decision in a hug fest is my prediction then.

That would be one of the most unpredictable outcomes I could think of. I'd have to take a break from the sport if that happened.

Too much at stake to play in safe for 12 stanzas.
This will get nasty early as both men are emotional and seeking affirmation of their skills.
        Wilder- KO in four.

Stiverne is gonna pressure wilder , smother wilder , **** the body then head

And he's not used to doing that

He used to fighting on back foot and countering with the right hand

Man I hope wilder wins, he's much better for boxing

Stiverne gonna set up Wilder for a counter KO. And it will be a beauty.

Arreola's slow pace allowed him space, time, breathing room, everything. Stiverne was so relaxed that he even sat back on the ropes.

Wilder is a completely different fighter and Stiverne is not going to be comfortable in there with the fast pace, aggression, and long range shots.

If wilder plan is to control range and pepper stiverne with shots from the outside without getting drawn into a slugfest/counter from stiverne he has a good shot to win the belt. Either way its gonna be hard for wilder he has never been 12 rounds. what happens when wilder hits stiverne with everything and stiverne is still there? thats the question. i dont think wilder has the discipline to
keep calm and not go all out before the 6th round.

Wilder does not fight at a pace he throws about 5 punches a round. He is done for the moment someone takes his right hand away.

If the guys Wilder has fought were able to touch him up here and there, Stiverne is going to have a field day.

Wilders chicken legs are going to buckle and he will be carried out on a stretcher. Longer the fight goes, better Stivernes chances are.
