Three weeks remaining in actual negotiations. It's not like they give him a 48 hour deadline. That's plenty of time to actually negotiate. They did it because they plan to fight in april if Floyd doesn't want to fight and it only gives them less than 3 months to do it. Common sense really on why they are doing it.

Announcing a fight on the super bowl is a dumb idea. People wont pay attention to it because people would be focus on the game. If you run ads about the fight on the super bowl, I can see it.

Deadlines are always given in negotiations, you've obviously never bought a piece of property or negotiated any sort of business deal.

LOL... You know Manny wants the fight but if May going to play around, Manny has no choice but to move on. PPl want to fight Manny just like ppl want May. They're the top two PRIZE fighters. You know it takes time to promote the fights. Manny can't wait until Mar for May words. Manny doesn't need May, just like May says he doesn't need Manny. Manny just want to fight the man. If Manny fight Jessie Vargas, so be it. Who else he's going to fight? JMM don't want it. Everyone else are Al Hamon guys. Trust me, Broner doesn't want it and Manny would destroy Danny Garcia. I bet Khan will fight Manny but Hamon going to put him in the ring with May. Let's keep 100... Mayweather doesn't want to fight the "Midget."

Pacquiao can do whatever he pleases. If a coward fighter doesn't want to face him, he should move on. Cannot wait forever, life goes on!

"B side"? Says who? The only reason Pacquiao lost his #1 P4P fighter status to Floyd is because he was blatantly robbed vs. Bradley and then he legitimately lost to a JMM who may or may have not been juicing, but still was being badly beat up until the incredible shot occurred. Floyd did nothing to deserve that #1 fake status he has today, Pac "lost it" by himself due to those two straight losses, a robbery first and a questionable fighter drug-wise in that particular fight with JMM. To many people, Pacquiao is still the #1 P4P despite what most "experts", most of them based in the USA may say, and as long as Floyd doesn't clearly and unquestionably beat him, he will never be considered the best of his time, by a lot of people, specially those outside the USA.
