          Well

Velez wins even if Jhonny knocks him out. Velez wins by DQ or whatever they can come up with. LOL.

          Seriously I think Velez wins.

Great fight. If Jhonny can endure the early onslaught I could see him pulling away during he mid rounds and landing a stoppage in the late rounds. War Bombardero!

                Wow.

They are just going to disregard saying they were issuing mandatory eliminators between Velez and Sonsona? They said that just a few months ago.

Marvin “Marvelous” Sonsona who is currently ranked No. 3 featherweight by the World Boxing Council will face undefeated Jayson "La Maravilla" Velez of Puerto Rico in a mandatory eliminator. This was relayed in a message from well-known international matchmaker and promoter Sampson Lewkowicz following an inquiry from BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports. Indications are the winner will face champion Jhonny Gonzalez provided he defeats veteran challenger Jorge Arce on September 20.

Could this be a Cotto-Canelo undercard fight? Cotto is definitely going to want his fighters on the card.
