Forget about the fact that Rigo has two major straps and the reward in beating him would probably make him p4p 10 overnight ... It seems certain fans are ok with certain fighters getting "ducked" as long as they have a certain style.
    Absolutely.

I've read many comments like "why fight Rigo for peanuts? " , "if Rigo is so good he should move up " or even gems like "he's not relevant, he is fighting in Japan and nobody wants to see him fight over here".

And of course the classics: " he runs " or "he's boring".

Don't lump every Santa Cruz fan in the same category. I'm one, and I absolutely want to see him fight Rigondeaux. I'll take Frampton or Quigg, just get the **** in the ring with someone already, Leo.

I guess Cinci Champ is still pretending Matthysse is ducking Broner. Broner fans really want to believe that.

          *question with obvious answer*

Why doesn't the WBC make Rigo the mandatory like they did Golovkin and like Kovalev has a chance to do if he beats Pascal?

Santa Cruz said he was very motivated to get a unification fight with Rigondeaux. He returns on January 17th against Jesus Ruiz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner says he is ready to fight Santa Cruz at any time. Santa Cruz is calling himself the best fighter at the weight and Rigondeaux wants to prove him wrong in the ring.

He doesn't want next, truth be told he doesn't want ever.

I believe this is the easiest fight possible for Rigo.

Now that rigo has been exposed as a soft bum with a glass chin, everybody should be eager to fight him, ko him and take his belt, right? Where is the line? Thought so
