Real talk, what is that pic supposed to even mean?

And what contract is Floyd supposed to sign right now? Has Manny signed anything?

Arum and Koncz said they are negotiating and making progress. That dance is gonna have to play itself out before anything gets signed.

Sign what? Lol if there was any offer on the table it would be coming from mayweather and co. and it would be up to manny to either agree to the terms or make a counter. Manny is acting as if he's in a position (A-side) to send a contract out to mayweather and now he's just waiting for him to sign. I'm sure his fans will eat this up but anyone with half a brain knows exactly what this is about... This is his built in excuse for when Arum blocks the fight and his fans are forced to shell out $60+ for a Jessie Vargas fight. "I tried everything ... I told him to sign the contract ... Remember ... You 'member right?" .

That's the definition of a negotiation- offers and counter offers until both sides agree to terms. It's not one guy set terms and the other agrees blindly no matter how ridiculous. Especially not when the other guy is a needed commodity for the most lucrative fight ever. But hey, I'm sure Floyd will be more than happy to keep getting overpaid while Showtime loses another $16 million in 2015.
It's sad that you have to explain what a negotiation is and how it takes place. Too many people on this site act like they know what's going on behind doors like they have inside information.

I agree. I'm just impressed by how many posters on Boxing Scene went out and became CPA's, Promoters, and even are involved directly with the negotiations to the extent that they can provide inside information, LOL!!!

Lol exactly! That's what I honestly thought the picture was going to be... Instead *hands folded staring at the fire* he probably threw the contract in there with most of his tax receipts ...

So Pac decided to be a little playful with the pic and it shorted the brains of Floyd fans who are trying to decipher the meaning. Hilarious. The whole sign the contract thing is no different then when Pac agreed to WADA/VADA full Olympic style testing at least a year before the Floyd/Cotto fight and Floyd kept saying at the end of the Cotto fight "just take the tests" as if Pac just goes out without a fight agreement and takes some test for Floyd. Both Pac and Floyd can be a little off at times.

How do you know wether or not PAC was being serious or playful? You guys cool like that? Fact is the guy is talking about a contract that doesn't exist ... Playful or not it's misleading. If he had any REAL intentions on making this fight happen I don't think he'd be "playing" around so much. It's business and if he minded his business a little better he probably wouldn't be on the verge of going broke... But I digress.

It could be either playful or serious, who cares. Chock it up to be playful unless there is some hidden message that defies Pac looking like he is waiting by the fire for Floyd. Maybe they have drawn up contracts and Pac knows this and he really is waiting, or just playing around and knows that the contract is not anywhere near ready for one or both signatures. No one knows except those who are involved with the negotiations. The pic or any other aspect is not worth dwelling too much on. Only if or when the fight becomes agreed and signed will we know. Till then, Floyd and Pac are going to *** with each other through the media.
