That's the definition of a negotiation- offers and counter offers until both sides agree to terms. It's not one guy set terms and the other agrees blindly no matter how ridiculous. Especially not when the other guy is a needed commodity for the most lucrative fight ever. If you're saying "money isn't a problem" and "waiting for Floyd to sign" you shouldn't be negotiating.

As I alluded to in my post above, he said his motivation to fight mayweather isn't for the money. His motivation is for legacy and because his son wants to see him beat mayweather

Forbes said mayweather has made 400 million in his career and Manny 350 million, so obviously money isn't an issue for either of them unlike what mayweather wants you to believe.

That doesn't mean Manny isn't going to demand his fair share of the pie. Why would he let mayweather get all the money and he get nothing. He has sold almost as many ppv's as mayweather so mayweather being A side against pacquiao doesn't mean a whole lot.

What are you talking about? If Floyd ducks pacquiao canelo cotto would also do way more than Floyd vs anybody, which would make him 3rd or most likely 4th after the boycott is in effect.

Manny could fight canelo in may and do 2 million ppv buys while Floyd could fight khan and do 700k, would Manny then be entitled to 3/4 of a purse split against mayweather using the floidiot logic? Pacquiao never said he was desperate, in fact he has said if it never happens it wouldn't be a big deal for him but for the fans it is a big deal and also his son really wants him to beat mayweather.

And he never said he would agree to anything either that would be ******ed lol he said .oney wasn't the issue in the fight because they have both made a lot of it, so its for legacy and for the fans. People also like to say pacquiao said he would fight him for free, which is a completely fabricated lie. He said he would fight him for charity so long as both of their purses went to charity because mayweather was saying he's broke. That's a really far cry from saying he wants to fight for free.

According to Forbes mayweathers career earning are around 400 million while pacquiaos are around 350 million. So obviously neither of them are struggling for money regardless of whether Manny has a pending tax case.

They are number 1 and number 2 ppv stars of all time, sign the fight for 50/50 or 55/45 and anything less than 60/40 is Floyd pricing himself out of the fight. Manny already said he would do that, but arum is probably trying to get more and why shouldn't he? Manny has certainly earned his half of the pie based on revenue he has brought in in his career.
