I use to like canelo but he thinks he is bigger than he is...yeah it is a Mexican holiday so fight in Mexico against a Mexico opponent then and he should remember that it's in the usa where he intends to fight so he should play by there rules.......if it's cotto on May 5th then that would be bigger than any fighter mayweather chooses besides pacquiao which could in a way force mayweather to sign the deal with pacquiao.......I have no idea who mayweather can fight in May if it's not pacquiao....Khan or cotto.....not many escape routes for flood thts for sure

He's trying to get some moral victory over Floyd because he certainly couldn't do it in the ring.

I like Canelo but sometimes he has some sort sense of entitlement, one that you usually get from having a lot of your career handed to you on a plate compared to other fighters. The guy should remember what happened the one time he got in the ring with a truly elite fighter...he was made to look like a very average fighter.

I'm not saying Floyd should be entitled to the date either, but Canelo shouldn't speak like he is the man while referencing a man who whooped him around the ring in front of millions of viewers all around the world.

Mayweather can only fight Pacquaio on May 2nd.Then Alvarez will have to back down.If no Pac,then Alvarez vs Cotto on May 2nd.They both fighting anyone else is a waste of time.
