Okay so u cant sell over 400k in ppvs, u didnt even bring much to the ppv sales when u fought floyd lol. Matthysse vs Garcia was on that card, so I cant give Canelo credit when he himself cant sell more than 350k on his own.

I dont even know if a Cotto vs Canelo fight would outsell Floyd even if he does end up fighting Khan. U can put Broner vs Maidana or Matthysse on the card, put Garcia back on, if they make a good undercard, Floyd vs Khan outsells Cotto vs Canelo.

As much hype as there was months ago after Cotto beat Martinez, there isnt as much now that both didnt fight towards the end of the year.

Besides, Cotto knows he will make more vs Floyd than he would vs Canelo, and Im sure Cottos team is pushing hard for a 65 35 split if not 70 30, 55 45 is not gna happen yung Cinnamon

The argument of Canelo actually beating Floyd's numbers is not the issue, b/c he can't outsell Floyd. Canelo holding a PPV on the same night would be potential buyers for a Floyd fight, these days he needs all the help he can get(unless its Manny).
Stacking the undercard with high profile fifghters increases the purse payout, think Showtime will gamble? I don't.

Canelo can throw a tantrum about May 2 even if Mayweather-Pacquiao gets signed for that day, but DLH and Arum have already indicated that they will move Canelo-Cotto out of May 2 if that fight happens. Canelo gets that date only if Mayweather fights a whack fight like Khan.

If Floyd fights the British Pakistani, surely, A Mexican vs a Puerto Rican will get the support for their fight over a popular African American vs a relatively unknown Pakistani. If we're talking about a war video game, yeah, the American vs Pakistan storyline makes sense. But this is boxing, where PR vs Mexican will prevail, and it's two of the most popular boxers from the respective countries. In fact it's the most popular Mexican boxer vs the most popular PR boxer.
