Gonzalez wants 1 Million for the rematch with Estrada don't think he will get it from HBO, maybe Showtime pays him that amount.

I doubt it would headline it's own card if it's transmitted through HBO airwaves. Juan Francisco Estrasa has been on HBO2 twice and going for a third time in March in the rumored rematch against Brian Viloria, under the same card where Shiming will fight for the IBF strap against Amnat Ruenroeng. If anything I think Top Rank is going to be forced to tap into the lower weights if they really want to appeal to the Chinese audience, seeing as how Asian fighters of an elite level tend to be on the lower weight divisions.

Also, with TR showing more immediate interest in those weight divisions, HBO seems to be forced on the ride and will bring more exposure to those weights. Will the lower weights ever get massive support from the public or headline their own PPV? I highly doubt it, but headlining their own card on HBO doesn't seem like such a far fetched idea anymore. Thank you Zou Shiming

By "we", I thought he meant a million dollar license fee between the fighters, not just for himself.

Headline is misleading. The last time this site attempted to attribute similar quotes to Gonzalez, he categorically denied making such comments on his twatter account. Any reference to a million dollars is almost certainly in reference to a fee for both fighters.

MEXICO - The interest they have in the United States to see the fight between Roman ' Chocolatito ' Gonzalez and Juan Francisco ' Gallo ' Estrada is so great that awaited fight between the two best Flies world could occur before the middle of 2015.

According to a source close to the negotiations , the bid had initially been $ 150,000 to distribute between both fighters has grown significantly, to the extent that they have already offered three times more than what was originally said.

It is known that behind the rejected offer of $ 150,000 that went beyond the current figure of HBO to bring grief to the United States is over $ 500,000 , while Showtime has offered almost $ 350,000 to be shared between both fighters.

"Possibly the middle of 2015 that fight for ( Estrada ), we expect that fight mooring and is a very close friend to all public fight," said ' Chocolatito ' Friday after participating in Golpe a Golpe ESPN.

For now, the thrilling and close fight which starred as Gonzalez and Estrada in 2012 is the guideline to know or we can expect in his next bout.

Gonzalez will for now a defense of green and gold sash 112 pounds on November 22 in Japan against an opponent to be determined, while Estrada could also make a defense for the month of December, although no confirmed date.
