The thing is I actually respect him as a boxer, I know his chin isn't the best but hes got skills, fast hands, hes got grit because when hes been hurt in the past he has shown heart and above all of that he has fought and been willing to fight tough opposition, not to mention winning an Olympic silver medal at 17, these are all things that would gain any boxing fans respect, but then like you said he gets carried away with himself and starts talking out of his arse and makes himself look a fool.

Yeah but khan and mayweather are both signed to al haymon so he could always block it, but if mayweatget ducks pacquiao I highly doubt he would face khan though I could be wrong. We may see that fight after all but I wouldn't count on it.

This new Amir Khan who looks like a welter Andre Ward, could and I think would beat Pac at this point.

Apparently, the fight is being discussed between Khan and Arum. Arum wants Khan a TR fighter.

The problem with him is he thinks hes on the level of mayweather/ pacquiao when in reality he hasn't accomplished 1/20th of what each of them have in boxing. Manny has consistently beaten future hall of famers for well over a decade, and Ami khan brags to the world about his best win Devon Alexander lol. Amirs best win is equal to mannys worst win in the last 10 years and the rest of khans competition has been people Manny wouldn't even ever consider fighting. Were talking bout a guaranteed hall of fame and p4p top 10 or so best fighter ever vs a guy who wouldn't get in hall of fame if he retired now. He needs to prove himself against top level opposition consistently for years before hes even considered in the same breath as mayweather/pqcquiao although I would like to see pacquiao fight him if al haymon doesn't block it

It's normally a good thing to leave this kind of talk with the promoter ,trouble is that's Oscar who seems desperate to claw back some of his Khan investment and then too makes big mistakes.I'll bet he's having nightmares about putting Khan top of the bill at the MGM Grand , with Khan's promise of a "Hatton type atmosphere"...half empty NO Khan fans ! Where were his twitter fans ? Khan goes out on his shield and will do the next time ,if ever Al and the Khan team allow him to fight anyone in the top five.

I'd love to see a Khan vs Pac fight or Khan vs Mayweather for that matter. It would be more of an even match than people give it credit for. We just haven't seen Pac in with a Haymon fighter so odds are we never will. If Pac vs May can't get done there's no way Al offers up one of his up and comers. Al must know Pac is getting backed into a corner with a shortage of opponents.
