Neither pacquiao or roach has mentioned his name as a possible opponent. Arum has said he will be on the plan b list but so are many other more qualified fighters
He fights who Bob Arum tells him too.

Lineal champ doesn't mean anything when you are not willing to face the best opposition. Pacquiao is not fighting Vargas whether or not he faces mayweather.
However, like you mentioned I doubt this fight happens. BUT it would be right on par with his previous selections. So I wouldn't be surprised but nobody should be betting on it to happen.

At the end of the day, this fight won't happen. But it is on par with Pac's selection of opposition. Still, don't bet on it to happen.

It's probably not fair to dislike Vargas, but I do. All the ****ing gifts he's gotten combined with the possibility of him getting a Pac fight is affecting my opinion of him.

He sure did because Roach said Mosley was too good after Margarito. Saw the video when Roach said he asked Mosley if he could make 142/143 and he was not Oscar to get the fight at 147 because he was better and he had to protect Pacquiao.

Please stop blaming Emmanuel Pacquiao for opponents such as Algieri and Vargas. He does not have a say in the opponents selected for him to fight.

please stop that false narrative. both floyd and manny have complete control of who they fight and they use the whole al haymon bob arum i fight who they tell me to fight to hide from tough questions.
stop the bull****.
when you are the only crown ***el ppv star for both stables, you call the shots. which is what floyd and manny are.
this whole al haymon bob arum are the ones deciding are PURE DOGBULL****.
these two guys are not some gate keepers. they aree the only ppv stars of the sport.
they decide who they fight nobody else.
they and the fans like you only use that its up to the promoter bull**** to deflect criticism for their ****ty choices.

I was just happy to see that Mosley finally got his tooth taken care of.

what weight class did floyd start in?
totally irrelevant point.
