You too, why not answer that question?
Because it has nothing to do with what he originally stated. "It's for the lineal middle weight title."

I don't care if a fight is fought for 100 billion dollars, or 100 pennies. I don't watch boxing or pay to see fights for that. The truth of the matter is, nobody was calling for a rematch because according to most floyd fans, the fight was either 9-3 or 10-2. "oh Cotto bloodied floyds nose and everyone celebrates like he won when he just got dominated. Next".

No it's not. He already fought and beat Cotto clearly.

What's the point of a rematch. Did you want a rematch, did anyone ever want a rematch?

Oh but now he's about to lose his May date "it's a big fight now doe" it's not.

2 fights left and you guys want him to fight someone he already beat.

^^^^ I have literally read them say that "oh he gave him a bloody nose and das it! Next!"

        Now it's:

"Oh it's a big fight still doe!"

For that to have happened only in the past 20 years, says even more. So miss me with that bs you're spewing. Instead tell me why a rematch wasn't good after the first time, but suddenly, its among the biggest fights to be made. Mind you, most floyd fans had it 9-3 or 10-2. What would be the point?

Oh so you cant name anyone else?

          I didnt think so.

If Floyd had a history of cherry picking the easiest Champ in every division, you would have a point. As it is, you are just talking ****. Cotto is the MW Champ and no Im not sure GGG or Quillin beat him. They might, but I dont give credit to boxers for things they havent done.

Fighting Cotto is a challenge. Fighting at 160 is a challenge. All we want is for these guys to challenge themselves. Those are the facts. So if Floyd doesnt fight Pac, that in and of itself would be disappointing. But him fighting Cotto at 160 isnt.

If you know of a better option B for Floyd then say it.

This is senseless debating, it's obviously his second best option whether you want to accept it or not. No one is saying that it's their preference, still his second best option. It has nothing to do whether people want to see it or not (And they will)...a lot comes with it.

Now they're all going to come out with , "Well, I went back and watched the fight again, and you know, watching it a second time, Cotto did really well. I had it 7-5 Floyd, maybe even a draw. I think it would be best there was a rematch to see who really won".

I'm not all that interested in a Cotto rematch. I'm sure it would make good business for Showtime and Mayweather but I wouldn't be all that psyched; although admittedly I'd probably be all into it as the fight draws near. But like everyone else, I want to see Mayweather face Pacquiao. Two more fights left in his career (supposedly) and this should be one of them. I think both fighters want it. Now it's up to the negotiators to make it happen with no excuses.

Because Floyd beat him easily once.

Senseless debating is moving the goal posts time and time again. First it was, "It's for the lineal middle weight title." Then, when asked if there was other opportunities to go for the lineal title, he vacated that stance and went for the money route. That is senseless debating. Do you really need to see a rematch? Leave the money aspect out of it unless you're his manager or promoter. As a fan, did you want to see this rematch back then, or just now?
