Leo Santa Cruz's Next Bum Opponent

None of that matters anymore if he is going to continue the Haymon fighter trend of fighting guys who have no business being in the same ring. It would be different if Als guys were fighting 4 times a year, I could see 2 easy fights, and 2 big fights, but they're not. They're going out twice a year, and fighting bums. That, is problematic. and anyone who doesn't see that, is lying to themselves. Leo Santa Cruz is becoming a joke, and this is from one of his fans. Abner Mares is doing the same thing. Common denominator, Al Haymon.Poor choice of options. I don't like Haymon and the way he matches his fighters but to say the excellent fighter Santa Cruz should be arrested for impersonating a fighter is ****** and insulting. The guy can fight his ass off and he is exciting as hell and one of my favorite fighters.Comment

As if it happened in his last fight. That was when he was 18 years old,
. If you haven't noticed, a lot of Mexicans lose fights like that when they're 16-20 years old and go on to become world champions later.

Why is everybody up in arms about Jesus Ruiz being the opponent? He's not as bad as people are making him out to be. Much better than we usually get from Al Haymon clients.
Ruiz has a draw with Andres Gutierrez (who has a final eliminator with Hugo Ruiz to become Santa Cruz's mandatory coming up), a K.O. win over Ruben Tamayo (the opponent Jesus Cuellar just knocked out recently), and a win over Enrique Quevedo (the guy who knocked out Yoandris Salinas, the same Salinas that Scott Quigg fough to a draw with).
I do notice that a lot of the people that knock Santa Cruz are Frampton and Quigg fans though. They like to pretend Frampton and Quigg are fighting future Hall Of Famers and aren't ducking Rigondeaux,
.

I'm a Leo fan. Seen him fight live, and crap like this, is simply not necessary. I could see if he was fighting 3 to 4 times a year. But 2 times a year, and this is what we get? FOH.Why is everybody up in arms about Jesus Ruiz being the opponent? He's not as bad as people are making him out to be. Much better than we usually get from Al Haymon clients.

LSC got infected by the Haymon virus. I don't even think this guy has a duck blood in him. And I believe he will fight anyone put in front of him. He's young, idealistic, naive, just like anyone at such age. But what can we do? Haymon is in the driver's seat.Comment
