I'm catching the fight now. The height difference is definitely an obstacle.

Santa Cruz will get hit with hard counters and be discouraged, just because he's an aggressive fighter doesn't mean his will can't be broken with swift counters. Rigo punches harder than Santa Cruz.

People are too harsh on Leo here, he's actually becoming underrated. I agree, he won't beat Rigo, but let's not depict him as an absolute bum because that's not the case. I think he'd beat the other champ, Frampton.

Leo is an educated fighter who has yet to be tested. Against inferior opposition he has looked great. I will wait to criticize Leo until he screws up bad enough to lose a fight.

Until then, Leo is a nice guy, very young, let's give him a chance. What great opponents has Rigo beat besides Nonito? What great fighters has Golovkin beat? Let's give these guys a little time. Hopefully Haymon will deliver.

i didn't. amagasa could potential win a world title or two one day. he has the skill the hunger and the will to win.

imo amagasa could give anyone other than rigo a run for their money.

amagasa will prove to be a very good win for rigo in the future. right now it's a good win.

There's one way to find out. Make the fight happen in 2015.

Yeah easier said than done when only Rigondeaux wants to fight. Cruz is more than happy fighting sparring partners and saying he'll fight Riogo on Twitter...

Stylistically that's the next best match up.

Whoever wins will prove who has refined their style more. I really enjoyed watching Frampton box his way to a title.
