    He wasn't the only one.

    Trust me on this.

Indeed, and the swelling wasn't the effect of one single shot, Amagasa ate -huge- shots all night long, including a few vicious looking uppercuts to the body.

People can see it as they like, but the Japanese wasn't one of those underdogs who only show up to get paid, the man gave everything he had and more.

Pay attention to some of the body work Rigo did in the first couple of rounds.

        Those weren't love taps.

You want to have your belt looking like a 80 year old from Walmart? Fine. I'll take it.

Rigo landed a few huge shots to the body, some uppercuts were just beautiful. I was surprised to see the Japanese not only stay on his feet, but still coming forward after eating those shots.

              You know what?

I've given this a lot of thought and I think OP has a point.

Just rewatched few Margarito fights and guess what?

That dude got dropped by some small black guy (who he's been dropped too btw.)

              Haha

              That Margarito guy was soft.

At least Mayweather isn't soft. Got some dog in him. Unlike this guy.
But mayweather was who we thought he was. He could have fought someone decent in September then fought maidana again. And now that cotto canelo is in negotiations he is complaining about his May date when he doesn't have an opponent. Now if you want to crown him then crown his ass! But mayweather was who we THOUGHT he was! And we let him off the hook!
