For someone with such good defense to be kd twice and rocked is often, not often for the usual fighter but often for the apparent best defense in the history of boxing fighter, you can't have it both ways by claiming he has the best defense and then making excuses every time that defense gets breached.

pretty good fight....not a war by any means though. I personally think Rigo relies on that left a lil too much or maybe he was just tryna get the guy outta there idk. They do count, and could/should have been avoided.

With that said, Rigo has a wonderful defense.

I'd say he's up there with Floyd in terms of overall defensive skills, only Floyd has a much better chin and probably better concentration (pro experience, define it as you like).

Every fighter gets tagged, defence just minimizes how often.

James Toney and Mayweather have two of the best defences in the sports history, but behind that they both have very good chins. Mayweather has been shaken a good few times and Toney but their chins were great...Rigondeaux has that same level defence, but his chin is not as good.

He is also fighting bigger guys. But chin and D are not the same. By your standards Margarito was a legend in D. Floyd gets hit with bombs but his chin is granite.
