I think the circumstances will be different because of the magnitude of the fight and majority of the public's general dislike for Floyd, which will magnify Manny's chances of winning.
majority thinks mayweather wins, so the majority will be looking for anything to give him the fight

in the end i think it ends up a split decision, even if in reality it's a little clearer than that

and pacquiao was robbed vs bradley because arum fixed it

I don't really think the crowd is going to be largely in Manny's corner. Floyd fought Canelo and nearly 70% of the crowd was in Canelo's favor and they all got quiet after like 3 or 4 rounds. I've watched the majority of Floyd's career and he almost ALWAYS gets the benefit of the doubt in close rounds. Even in his super feather weight days that was the case.

There's 3 groups of folk you don't fck with:

        PETA
        MAAD
        GAYS

I heard Manny pissed off one of the aforementioned groups...

and pacquiao isn't gonna brawl as he is now, he is way past that, and being wild will get him nowhere but off balance and unable to fire a combination, nor is making it ugly something in his repetoire

pacquiao's chances have declined from his prime where he wouldn't give a sht about floyds counters and would walk right through him

but he still has a chance taking the fight to mayweather like he did vs bradley in the second fight, use his legs to get close to floyd and keep his hands moving, pacquiao's own counter-punching skills will keep floyd tentative

what i dont like about the new pacquiao is his right hook has disappeared again, it would work great against floyd's lead rights to the body
fighting "perfect" to me implies "boxing tactically"

if he does that he'll lose.

fighting at fast pace and wild is his best chance.

You guys are failing to realize the magnitude of the fight. Don't compare Mayweather/Canelo to the biggest and most anticipated megafight since Tyson/Lewis.

I doubt ANYONE gets quiet during this fight.

How many pointless articles/posts will we have analyzing Mayweather v. Pacquiao while the fight isn't signed and will not be signed

Get ready for Floyd-Khan and Pacquiao-Ruslan/Jesse Vargas

Arum said he wants to make Mayweather-Pacquiao but all I hear are excuses from him...

Manny can't take random blood-testing it weakens him, Manny's cut has to heal, MGM will build an outdoor stadium, Mayweather-Pacquiao needs 6-7 months to promote, Manny isn't available for Mayweather - we're trying to negotiate Marquez 5, Cinco De Mayo is a day for the Mexican people and a fighter whom I don't promote should get that date because he's Mexican even though Pac fought Hatton and Mosley

Let's keep pretending it's only Mayweather who is putting up the roadblocks... it's both Arum and Mayweather....

Freddy knows they can no longer duck this fight by fooling PAC fans that Floyd's scared. He knows what to expect that's why he's setting up an excuse in advance know how reckless the PAC is . Run (your mouth) but you can't had. Fool some of the people some of the time not aall the people all of the time.

Floyd has been trying to tarnish mannys name in the media for years with false steroid allegations, making fun of Asians, saying hes not his own boss ECT ECT ECT. I'm sure it had to of gotten under mannys skin and you could tell every time he called the chicken out to fight. So you better believe he will be in the absolute best condition of his life and his senses will be heightened die to all that adreneline caused by all the media attacks by mayweather. Mayweather cant punch his way out of a wet paper bag so Manny won't respect his power and will just be unloading hundreds of punches a rounds with furious combinations. I can't wait to see the scared look on mayweathers face when Manny is unleashing his fury. That alone will be worth the 100 dollars in ppv money, not to me too when Manny has his hand raised he will be the undisputed king of boxing, I honestly doubt Floyd will even want a rematch after the punishment he will take. Remember health comes first to Floyd that's his reasoning for years fot not fighting him.
DLH - Pacquiao-Mayweather have same power
Mosley - Pacquiao-Mayweather have same power
Cotto - Mayweather hits harder than Pacquiao

His best punch is the double jab followed by a straight left, which he starts from long range, comes in while pumping his jabs and then throws his straight left and spins the opponent around before they have a chance to do anything. And he doesn't cut the ring off? Watch the.algieri fight to see how good he does against runners. I suspect it will be the same against Floyd except maybe somewhat closer due to judges bias towards duckweather that they always have. But if Manny does his usual and throws 100 hard punches a round, Floyd will have no choice but to be like the usual opponent and cover up the whole round and not get any punches off. How is he going to win rounds throwing 10 punches while landing 5 and Manny is throwing 100 punches and landing 30 or 40? Floyd doesn't go against guys with speed and now u have Manny who has speed power defense and is a southpaw who has incredible stamina to throw 100 boxing fast punches a round that are very hard. His defense and footwork are also top quality too, mammy is simply a complete fighter and if he doesn't respect his opponents power which I don't think he will respect mayweathers that much after the first few rounds, then forget about it because he will throw combinations all night and Floyd will have no chance at all. Watch the algieri fight I suspect it will look somewhat like that except Floyd will put up a little better fight.

No..no...no... just stop bro. Pac's jab is a lazy double pump step in shoots from the hip, for the purpose of setting up his left. His jab is the reason he got knocked out cold because it's not difficult to time, even Algieri timed it a few times. De La Hoya had a good jab, what Pac has can barely be considered a jab. Let's do some math what's 12x100= 1200, Pac barely averages half those punches a fight, and some how he is going to be this miraculous 100 punch a round beast?

So much for HONEST assessments, smdh
