Correct, why would anyone go to the trouble and expense of securing a site, gathering purse money, negotiating a network deal, etc for a fight one side (GGG) has made clear they don't want.

When and if they fight, my prediction is that GGG give Ward the beating of a lifetime (and if Ward did not take three fights prior to fighting GGG, then Ward's defenders will blame the K.O. on Ward being rusty). At any rate, if the fight happens, GGG wins by K.O.

Dude Froch made like 10m pounds vs Groves. Ward last made 2m for a tuneup. GGGs career high is 900k. Do you see Crawford making offers to Pac, or Thurman to Floyd?

True . It is the A side that should be doing the offering

But why would froch go out fighting a brutal fight with ggg when he can make a lot fighting Chavez

          Froch has paid his dues

These guys get punched on the head for a living.

Make your money then bounce and along the way the fans will see great fights

But don't lie to the fans like lsc does and discredit other fighters like quillin does

And of course he wants to be paid handsomely for those tune up fights. As a result, Ward is irrelevant and there is zero obligation from Golovkin, or anyone for that matter to reach and and try to make a fight with Ward. Once he does get back in the ring and he finishes with his tune ups, hopefully by then GGG will have cleaned out 160 and they can easily fight. GGG by KO.
Agree. Ward is a diva p*ssing away his best years losing 4 consecutive court cases to the Goosens. If you're so brilliant and astute, then how did you tie into a contract you can't get out of??? If and when Ward comes back to Boxing, he can deal with his own division and a guy named Kovalev. He can fight Froch. He can fight Chavez Jr. who won't fight Gennady. Gennady is in his own drivers seat, fighting 3-4x a year with whoever will fight to stay sharp. Fans love the guy, he's a real class act and trains like a machine. Old school. How can you not like a guy like that. He's calling everyone out at 160 who claims to have a belt, asking them to unify with him. He's also interested in Canelo AND Cotto, or the winner or both. Cotto won't fight GGG, but he'll fight a washed up, injury prone 40 yr old Sergio. Ward will have a rude awakening. He's a real head case. You don't see GGG in court. Don't see him complaining over money, promoters, gloves, drug testing. He just wants to fight and fight often.

Exactly. He fights like a prime Bernard Hopkins and Hopkins couldn't even sell in his own hometown of Philadelphia, last time he fought there.

And I'm not going to bother arguing about Ward anymore. Anyone who insists Golovin is ducking him won't change their mind, and quite honestly I don't care about Ward anymore. Believe whatever you want.
Ward is ducking real competition and using the court battles as an excuse.

Froch and Kessler are mediocre. There I said it. Ward has NEVER fought anyone.

The Super Six were comprised of typical Euro-fighters.

You can't negotiate with Ward these days unless you have a law degree and a curly wig.

I don't think any of these fights have ever really been on the agenda.
