Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs) is ready for a very tough fight, on March 14th, when he challenges WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23KOs) at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Pascal was in talks to face his countryman, WBC champion Adonis Stevenson. They were unable to agree on the terms and Pascal went forward with a plan to face Kovalev, who had also unsuccessfully tried to get Stevenson in the ring.

Stevenson considers himself to be the best fighter at 175-pounds. The WBC has ordered him to face the Kovalev vs. Pascal winner.

i know people try to blame this **** on haymon but the fact is its on stevenson the guy is turning himself into a joke rather then just taking people up and fight i dont get it either cause the guy is a real talent i dont think hes scared but then again maybe he is

Pascal has fought guys like Froch, Diaconu, Hopkins, Dawson, Bute and soon Kovalev. Pascal always tries to get in the ring with the best, he got the right to diss Stevenson.

haymon has control of all his fighters. he can veto any fight that his fighters want so even if stevenson wanted to fight someone good haymon would veto it.

I hate Stevenson because he is such a ducker and signed with al haymon who probably advises him to duck people, but honestly Stevenson would beat Pascal bad but I hold Pascal in higher regard because he doesn't duck ppl

Can't you read Stevenson's body language when Kovalev is brought up though? And did Stevenson have the absolute worse ring entrance last fight with the Superman imitation or what!!
