Jon Slowey, a Scottish boxer who has largely fought around the featherweight and junior lightweight divisions, has been found not guilty of assaulting a woman with whom he was in a relationship, according to Glasgow’s Evening Times. The two are no longer together.
The woman accused Slowey of dragging her and then pushing her into a bathtub, where she hit her head. The alleged skirmish continued until she escaped, she said.
Slowey’s attorney argued that there was not enough evidence, and the court agreed, the article said.
