Lemiux's and Lees's are a dime a dozen and guys at 168 are their equals if not better. For example both Dirrells are far above both those men.

For a guy that is 33 Golovkin can't afford to be waiting around for something that might happen or might not. He needs to make things happen going to 168 is making something happen.
Alvarez could happen this year if he beats Cotto. If Alvarez loses to Cotto, then Golovkin should move up. If Alvarez wins, Golovkin would be crazy to move up.

I just don't see Canelo being in a rush to fight Golovkin should he beat Cotto. I think it would happen should it not get derailed it would just take time, but that is why I don't like that fight for Golovkin I see him getting ****ed around waiting for something that may or may not happen.

Which is pretty much the story of Golovkin's whole career, and not his fault but I want to see him getting off their game and onto his.

If he can get that fight quick more power to him though and he would be correct about the choices he is taking in his career.

I have no reason to distrust Alvarez when he says he would fight Golovkin, especially since he has said so multiple times. He's given me no reason to think he's lying. If the fans demand it, it will happen.

Nothing wrong with GGG fighting the winner of Lee/Saunders then Canelo/Cotto later on in the year to unify then move up.

It is just a story I have watched too many times to just think that fight would come off right away, a boxing thing not a Canelo thing. Eventually sure, some stuff between it is May or September year after next because Canelo has already made clear his date plans.

Could work out but that time he is never getting back, if he was 5 years younger I see it at 33 which I don't even think you can call a low mileage 33 given his amateur rounds he needs to move quick. However you are right in that he can bide his time until he sees if Canelo will be a possibility and gives him options going forward but I also know Golovkin is better than these middleweight also rans so seeing him beat up Lee is unneeded he has already beat up 5 guys like him.

Taylor should get stripped and N'dam and Lemieux should fight for his title. The winner fights GGG.

I think only N'Dam would fight GGG if he won, which I think he would.

If he didn't before, you really think he would now? Granted GGG is bigger than he was then, but I'm not so sure that he would.

He would give Quillin a rematch sure... but outside of that, he's not going to make money on the other fighters he can fight.

Also with Haymon backing now, N'Dam would ask for a lot more money than the 600k he got the first go around.... I think he got that much, if he didn't, he'll want more than he got the first time.... and It'd probably be on an undercard again
