i like ggg i just think his handlers are protecting him while making him out to be this "avoided" fighter. i mean come on man one best talents we got against andy lee when he could fight ward come on i just want to see great fights just like pac mayweather

Can anybody fight Ward right now, who is he fighting? Who has he fought since November 2013?

Golovkin is staying active, he just fought the #2 and #5 in his division and is now fighting the #6.

Here we go with the protected and the he should fight Ward. I'd love to see him fight Ward but it's about time ppl accept reality. Legally Ward cannot sign up to fight ANYONE on any soil with a boxing governing body until his case is resolved. As far as protected...i'm still waiting on an example of him being protected. He's called out every champion in the division for over a year now (wish other champions did the same in every division) and all of them have given the deferred answer to fighting him. Just admit when you don't like a fighter and stop dancing around the truth.

Except he can't simply fight Ward. We don't even know if Ward's promoter is willing to make any fights. We don't know if Ward is willing to jump right back into the ring and fight Golovkin. His trainer suggests he wouldn't.

Ignoring all the times Golovkin has been told no just because you don't want to believe it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

This is a crap fight. No offense to Andy Lee. Hopefully Alvarez beats Cotto and we get Golovkin/Alvarez this year. Until then Golovkin's stuck with garbage. He certainly isn't getting Chavez this year.

Why should he move up maybe he wants to brake records at middleweight?
Blame Cotto for him having to fight Lee to get another title

Actually it's the right decision you are not seeing the big picture here. Ggg is taking all the belts so if anyone wants to get a belt it would have to be through ggg.

Loeffler's reached out for negotiations with Kessler & Froch, and both fights were shot down because there's not enough money to meet the purses.

Golovkin signed to fight Chavez for $2mill, Ward has a contract min. of $1.75mill - too much for non-ppv.

Based on what Bernard Hopkins said, we might see Golovkin-Hopkins in May.

If Lee/Saunders and whoever wins the IBF (Taylor/Mora/N'Dam/Quillin/Jaccobs), both decide to play keep away from Golovkin, we might get to see Golovkin-Lara in the fall.


So unless Alvarez gets so pissed off about Mayweather-Cotto II, that he decides to fight Golovkin on ppv that day, I'd be pretty satisfied with Murray, Hopkins, Lara and one more fight for Golovkin's 2015.
