Why would Arum prevent it from happening? Both are in the twilight of their career, hence the cherry picking on both sides. Arum will pass one of the biggest cut he'll get? I don't think so. Why do you think he went straight to the head of CBS? Exactly.Comment

I never really doubted Cotto vs Canelo wasn't going to be made more than Cotto throwing the notion out that he has "options" and that he's the A-side, but the fight will be made.
It's really in Floyd's court at this point as to what he "really" wants to do. Im not saying he's scared of Manny, but you find me a way out of Floyd not being ambushed if the fight doesn't happen after he came out calling Manny out because it's obvious Manny at this point is lookin at Floyd like
for the check and the chance to beat him.Comment

Time to face reality, your boy is about to sign up for his latest ass whipping on May 2nd at the hands of Canelo.
No 40 year old's coming off two knee surgeries and a year layoff here.
Hit me up if you want to bet some points once its official.Comment

I still think Mayweather might try to fight Cotto in May. The biggest fight in boxing is Mayweather-Pacquiao but Mayweather doesn't seem to want that fight for some reason. Cotto-Canelo is probably the 2nd biggest fight in boxing and if that fight is in May it would be impossible for Mayweather to outsell it with any other opponent than Pacquiao. But if Mayweather can fight Cotto in May nobody Canelo could fight would outsell that fight. That May date seems very important to both Floyd and Canelo.Comment
